Photography by Jagger Photography
Heather and Grayson, the dynamic duo behind Jagger Photography, shot Brittany and AJ's beautiful Balboa, California wedding. Being stuck in the freezing cold weather of New England, this wedding is a nice little reminder of summer! This wedding is packed full of awesome aqua and orange details. And the brides dress..stunning!
"The ceremony was atop a walkway over the boardwalk and the people rollerblading and cruising on their bikes really added to the atmosphere. They had a really cute beach themed wedding, without the cheese. Vintage California post cards and all, it was great!" -Heather & Grayson

Photography by Jani B.
It's not every day you come across a decade theme wedding. The thought that comes to mind immediately is has got to be tacky. But Karien and Pierre somehow managed to create a beautiful, modern twist on their themed wedding.
"Karien and Pierre had a 70's/80's themed wedding. All the guests wore clothes from either era and each table number had a picture of a band from either the 80's or 70's. Each table were supposed to get onto the dance floor and boogie each time a song from your table's band started playing. The ceremony was held in Bredasdorp's beautiful historic church and the reception in a marquee on the beach at L'Agulhas. The food was divine, with a buffet ranging from venison pie to Crayfish, mussels and other seafood that the groom & some of his friends caught themselves earlier the week." -Jani B.'s blog

Macarons by Desserts for Breakfast
I can't help myself. I'm in love with macarons. I came across these stunning shots on the blog Desserts for Breakfast, and I had to share. Not only are these grapefruit white chocolate macarons adorable, the colors are just so vivid. It reminds me of a Moroccan style wedding. I might just have to try this recipe for myself.

Grand Re-Vamp!
After a bit of an unplanned hiatus, which I do apologize for. But I hope to be back much more often, and I have a bit of a re-vamp planned! I've reformatted the blog for larger, more magazine style posts- bigger photos with modern layouts.
Can't wait to get back to work!

Decor by West Elm
West Elm... quite possibly my new obsession.
Is it too late to add to my Christmas list?

Wedding Coordination by La Lune Events
La Lune Events coordinated this lovely lavendar wedding in Idaho. Some details from Alisa of La Lune Events about the big day;
"The photographer was Ifong Chen from Spokane, WA, and the floral design was by Fleurtations Floral based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We did the rest of the event design and coordination ourselves. The lavender was handpicked by the bridesmaids at a lavender farm in Washington the day before the wedding. It smelled lovely and we added touches of lavender everywhere we could.
The wedding was held at the bride's parents' home in Hayden, Idaho on 12 wooded acres. The bride's father and the groom milled the timbers and built the gazebo/pergola for the wedding overlooking the pond a few months before the wedding.
Guests enjoyed a traditional wedding ceremony followed by dinner catered by Angelo's Ristorante based in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The rest of the evening included dancing and music at the water's edge."
