I totally love a good rustic wedding, and Danielle and Kris' California wedding is just overflowing with gorgeous details. Scott Andrew did an amazing job capturing the wedding, and talked a little about the couple and their wedding on his blog;
"Danielle is an art director for a little company called Billabong and is an amazing artist in her own rite. Kris is a Texifornian and is seriously one of the coolest, most laid back guys to hang out with. I knew their wedding was going to be awesome and I was excited about all of the awesome details and of course, the splendid location of Chinquapin on beautiful Lake Tahoe, CA".
The simple ivory and blue-gray color scheme works wonderfully with the natural surroundings, don't you think?

Photographer Feature: Gabe Aceves
This lovely contemporary country wedding was beautifully photographed by Gabe Aceves. I just love the soft blues, pinks and greens of the bouquet, and the woodsy setting. A few words from Gabe about the wedding;
"Andrea and John's wedding took place at Beaver Hollow Resort in Java Center, New York. They wanted a day that reflected their lifestyle, which is outdoorsy and in touch with nature. Rain threatened the whole day; it poured the night before and most of the day until about an hour before the wedding, and then all of a sudden it cleared up and was the most gorgeous afternoon you could imagine."
Photographer Feature: Kat Braman
Leah and Phil's bright, garden wedding took place on Juniper Island in Florida. The wedding was small and intimate, and the tropical feel of the garden made a lovely looking ceremony. Kat Braman was the photographer behind the wedding, and told the couple's story on her blog:
"Phil and Leah met when Leah decided to leave Florida to interview at a Boston law firm. Phil interviewed Leah. During the interview they felt an instant connection, but didn’t know where their roads would lead. When Leah was hired by the firm, he made sure he transferred all of his cases to her so they could work together. After working together for a few months, they started to realize how much they had in common. But, still, they kept their relationship professional. As luck would have it, Phil got a great opportunity to start practicing education law and he decided to leave his firm. At his going away party, Leah and Phil knew their window of opportunity was quickly closing, so Phil asked Leah out on a date. She said yes and, as he walked her to the train station in the wintry Boston cold, the two held hands. Which brings us here."

Welcome Gifts by Navy & Lavender
I've always loved the idea of giving your guests welcome baskets filled with sweet treats and things that may come in handy. Navy and Lavender does a twist on the traditional baskets- they offer adorable welcome boxes and welcome totes. The totes come in a variety of themes, including city, beach, country, traditional, and seasonal.
I've posted a few of the different totes Navy & Lavender offers- "New York, New York", "Beach Bliss", "Winter Romance", and "Country Charm". The totes come filled with a range of tasty snacks to try, and you can also add on a "Rescue Me" kit, which contains band-aids, toothpaste, Advil, and other essentials. What a great way to thank your guests for making the trip!

Photographer Feature: Lane Dittoe
This elegant wedding was photographed by Lane Dittoe. The bride's dress is so chic and airy, and the groom and groomsmen's crisp suits and lavender ties compliment the simple wedding just beautifully.
